FOREVER HOMES PAGE 14

Hi Doreen? How are you doing? I hope well,
you definitely have a lot going on.
But, in any case I hope you are well. Dagmar
was groomed today, so take a look.
She looks like a silvery cream when she's
trimmed, and her coat is getting so shiny.
She turned one on the 3rd, can you believe
it?
Hope you are enjoying the weather.
Lisa

Hello I don't know if you remember us....but
we bought Hilda from you.
Well, we finally had puppies, Hilda did great!
What an awesome mom!!!! She gave us 3 girls
(2 brindal & 1 red) and 1 boy (red brindal)!
I am not sure what took so long for her and
my male to tie....
but when they do, they do a GREAT job!

BARRON GOES HOME TO WEST TOWN, NY
I'm writing this to say that Baron is the
smartest dog in the whole wide world of dogs.
He had one poop accident in the house on
Saturday and one on Sunday but that was only
because I was unfamiliar with his signs and
we were just getting used to a routine. This
morning, he went to the back door and when
I took him out, he did his business almost
immediately. I couldn't believe it. At night,
he whines for about 2 minutes before quieting
down and he uses his wee wee pad overnight
and he knows "sit" and "down."
He will also pee on command outside now,
even in unfamiliar surroundings. He is everything
I could ever hope for in a puppy and I am
so glad he picked me and vice versa.
I hope my other dog Luke has a long, healthy
life ahead of him, but when he decides it's
time to go, we're going to be giving you
a call. And if any of my friends come asking
me for breeder recommendations, I will not
hesitate for one second to send them in your
direction.
Thanks so much for taking the time with us
on Saturday and answering our questions and
putting us at ease and selling us my own
personal pick of the litter.

kept the name!)

Lani's 6th birthday

Lilly Mae enjoying a warm spring day with
the sprinkler... this is the
aftermath... I could not go get the camera
when she was standing in it, so
this is how cute she is after!

Hi Doreen,
It has been 6 months since we picked up Lilly
Mae and brought her home to
Connecticut. As I have said in earlier emails
she is the love we needed
here after the death of a sweet Doxie friend.
Our friends who lost their
Daisy even came to pick up Elvira (now the
ever adorable Ella) about 3
months ago. I check you website almost daily,
not sure why, I guess I like
to torment myself (we have those darn zoning
laws here too.) I have watched
some of the pups I desired go to others and
that was meant to be
(Hemingway.) I also know you are struggling
to find homes for some of
those older beauties. If I can ever talk
my husband into breaking the
"rules," I will get back to you
in a heartbeat.
I decided that Lilly really needed to be
Nick's pup so we did have her
spayed in February. She did great and came
home that afternoon which gave
me much relief. Maybe one day I can try my
hand at breeding but with a
greyhound and Lucy(corgi/Papillion) and the
cutest little Lilly Mae that
idea is on hold for now.
I am praying for Sandy and her last pup,
Hope, daily and am so thankful that
the little one is still with us. Once Sandy
was spayed did she not get a
chance to nurse her pup? I remember when
we met you that you talked about
emergency C-sections and I know that was
a bad day for you.
So please know that your breeding of beautiful
Doxies has added such joy to
our live. Puppy mill dogs can be such a nightmare
from what I have seen and
I am so glad to have come to a knowledgeable
breeder who truly loves the
breed.
We pray that all of your transitions go smoothly
and that we will visit you
again one day in the not too distant future.
Sincerely,
Amy M.
Hi Doreen,
The puppy is cute as can be. He seetled in
pretty quick and nearly slept thru the night.
He is having a good time with our other dog.

Attached please find photos of Oscar. He
is a very good intelligent pup. He is now
11 months old! This past weekend was so hot,
we decided to go for a swim. We have an in
ground pool and taught Oscar to come down
the steps and he absolutely loved swimming
from my husband to me then could go to the
steps and get out all by himself. Of course
he would then proceeded to jump onto the
lounge chair to relax and dry off. He is
such a trip and very smart! We enjoy him.
This weekend I'm taking him to Pine Bush
to Verkeederkill park to the "Bark in
the Park" He loves these affairs. Last
month we went to the Beacon Barks parade.
I just this is what you do when you don't
have grandchildren yet!! Thank s again.

Hi Doreen! The babies slept the whole time
on the way home through a horrible thunderstorm,
needless to say they are heavy sleepers.
Frank and Beans are such happy puppies, they
love to steal eachothers food and fall asleep
together. Thank you for giving us such loving
puppies after Oscar, our baby of 11 years
passed away, we miss him very much but the
babies help ease the pain of his passing.
We will keep you updated with Frank and Beans!
Thanks again,
