Hi Doreen,
Just want to let you know how Phoenix is
doing. First of all, she is a sweetheart.
She is so friendly and loves everyone. She
was fine on the trip home, slept a little,
played a little. No car sickness, thank goodness.
She is doing very well on the wee wee pads
and rarely has an accident. She is eating
well, I already can tell she is growing.
The first few nights she cried a little,
which I expected, now she goes to sleep like
a good little girl. I took her to my vet
and he said she was perfect. No worms . We
are having a great time with her. Our other
dog Chloe is having a bit of a hard time
accepting her but she is starting to come
around. I know this will take time. I will
send a picture soon. It's hard to get a good
shot because she never stops moving. Thank
you for all your good information and I will
keep in touch.
Debbie (Levittown, NY)
The ride home with Lacey was just fine. Did
not get car sick. Stopped along the way &
peed & pooped. Had dinner & gets
along with Little Pete, my daughter's mini
doxie. So far so good.
Thanks.
Tina
She is very happy & doing just fine.
She sleeps in her crate at night & she
travels in a smaller one. Still working on
a schedule for pee & poop. She is very
friendly & loving - the way we like our
pets. She does funny stuff like hiding her
bones & I love that she comes right away
when called. Her & my daughter's dog
Lil Pete get along just fine - buddies for
life. She sure loves to eat ! We heard her
bark on the second day. She gets brushed
every day & is very calm about it. She
runs free in our backyard & walks on
a leash when in our front yard which she
likes to check out once a day. I know the
pain you are in...and it will pass but her
memory is forever with you. Lacey is in the
very best home she could ever be in (besides
yours).
Will keep ya posted.
hugs Tina & Lacey
ROSIE POSIE GOES HOME TO CT
Hi Doreen!
They are doing great!! Jessi has finally
come around with a lot of patience and training.
He is just the best little guy now. Still
is not thrilled with men but will tolerate
them and is not agressive at all. He is still
mommy's dog :)
Otto had a little mishap :( I have been fostering
for all american dachshund rescue and had
two pretty large standards for about a month.
The day before they were set to go to their
forever home, they were all playing in a
big ball of dachshunds (which is hilarious
by the way) and somehow Otto broke the outer
bone on his paw :( He is good now and the
cast is off but it was definitely a trying
six weeks. I can't tell you how many times
he pulled the cast off!!!!
They are so fun though and just a pleasure.....they
make us laugh at LEAST once every day. They
are extremely bonded and love eachother,
but also welcome fosters in the house with
no problem which is so sweet to see....male,
female, puppy......doesn't matter. They are
just so sweet!
I attached a pic of Otto in his cast :(
How is the baby? Hope all is going well with
you!

Hi Doreen,
Lani was spayed 2 days ago and is doing great!
I stopped by to bring her a new harness -
one that won't touch her incision as she
looks forward to her daily walk with her
Mommie! She's just a beautiful dog and is
such a good girl.
Love Lisa, Carmel, Lani, Gretchen and the
fiesty one.....(Dagmar!!)

Hey Doreen,
Well....Ellie is one years old. She is a
pip and we love her very much. She has finished
with dog class and knows all the basic commands
and is completely house broken. Ellie loves
to take long walks and play with her rubber
ball. I throw it and she brings it back to
me. We can play this game for hours...lol!
Ellie is a beautiful dog and we get many
compliments on her. Not only for her beauty
but for her temperament as well. She just
loves people and other dogs, but if a dog
invades "her space", she has no
problem letting them know to "bug off".
Attached are a few pictures of her. There
is one from Christmas and a few from now.
And I think she looks just like her sister,
Gretchen. Maybe if Gretchen comes up to visit
again, you can let me know and I will come
as well.
Helen
Hi Doreen!
I'm not sure if you remember me but we bought
Hank from you a few months ago. I've attached
his most recent picture. He is now 6 months
old, can you believe it?
I also had a question about Madison's pups,
are they miniature or standard sized doxies?
Hope you and your family are well!
