MICKEY GOES HOME TO NEWBURGH
Dear Doreen,
Mickey has been a welcome addition to our
family, he has won our hearts!!! He is so
fun and full of energy, he has added so much
to our homes. We want to thank you for allowing
us to adopt one of your “babies” . He is
such a quality puppy, so bright and alert.
We will definitely vote to save the Piebalds
because they are such beautiful dogs. Thank
you again, doing business with you was such
a pleasure, everything went so smoothly.
You will be on my mind, as I try to resist
buying another Doxie, for now at least J
Sincerely, Sue P. and Emily S.
P.S. Emily has got the dachshund bug now.
She is so in love with Mickey!!
LUIGI GOES HOME TO CT

They are waiting for burgers and fries.......and
wearing cashmere!!
Hey Doreen
My husband took this pic yesterday while
watching the Steelers game so thought of
you!! Not the best pic, but nonetheless cute
with the little buggers :)
All three are doing wondering and as you
can see, they love eachother and of course
their mom. Otto and Randi just play all day
and Nestle just oversees it all as the typical
older female!!
They are doing just great so wanted to share
the pic with you. Hope you and yours are
doing well!

CHARLOTTE GOES HOME TO CT TO PLAY WITH HER
COLLIE AND SHELTIE FRIENDS!!!!

dear Doreen,
we decided to change his name to Buddha because
my father just couldn't get used to the name
Luigi and he likes showing his little round
belly a lot.
well he's doing very well and he will not
leave me alone! he follows me wherever I
go in the house and just loves my friends.
hes' easier to train than I thought and has
the bathroom part down, he even responds
to his new name! now the only thing that
he needs to learn is that the puppy in the
mirror is himself =D. My whole family loves
him and my cousins just can't get enough
of him, he is the perfect dog and loves to
sleep on my lap when i'm on the computer.
in the pics attached there is one of him
"warming up" my spot on my computer
chair.

going on look" :-)
Hi Doreen, hope you are well. So much going
on on my end I keep forgetting to let you
know on whats up with Sophie. Sophie is doing
great (as you can see).. She hangs out on
the sofa sleeping all day when I am not home
but when I do get home she is my shadow and
I hers. I can't believe she will be six months
in the next few weeks. Well got to run. Will
try to send more photos.

LANCE GOES HOME TO NYC
LILLY MAE GOES HOME!!!
KING GOES HOME !

Hello to all,
As many of you know we have had the great
privilege of sitting for our
friends Ro and Ken's two dachshunds. Daisy
and Max have made such a huge
impression on our lives. And for those that
know us, you know how much we
adore animals.. all animals but most importantly
here in West Hartford the
canine variety which is allowed. Our dear
friend and sweet pup Daisy Mae
had to go to play at Jesus' feet earlier
than any of would have liked. The
broken hearts are all around. Daisy in her
last few months had formed an
amazing bond with Nick. He was with her when
she died. It was a profound
and amazing experience for he and I.
Derek and I know how responsible and ready
Nick for the next phase of
growing up... So yesterday we picked up his
precious Lilly Mae. They have
already bonded and he is over the moon. As
you can see she is quite small..
she is a long hair mini doxie. Jasper is
very happy except when she is
crying in her crate. Lucy is holding off
on her views until she see how
this all pans out.
Derek and I are already talking in child
like voices and fighting over who
gets the puppy when Nick isn't looking.
So we just wanted you to see her in all of
her 2 pound glory! Nothing could
be cuter or more heartwarming to watch for
us!
Hugs,
amy

As I mentioned our greyhound, Jasper, loves
a doxie! He has never come down
to the basement classroom until today. He
does not like her out of his
sight.
Thank you again for breeding such a wonderful
pup!

sure we are speaking about the correct pup,

Thanks Doreen!
Dan

Hi Doreen, just wanted to send a new picture
of Gabi, 9 months old. She is about 12 pounds
now. Hopefully she is done growing. She is
a beautiful girl. We have enjoyed watching
her grow. I look at some of the pictures
of the new babies and it's so temping.....
Gabi and her big sister ( Nikki, English
bulldog ) love each other so much. It is
so cute to watch them play together. You
have beautful dogs. I love the curly hair
on Gabi's ears, so cute!!
Thank you again,
Rosemary
Hi Doreen -
We named him Bandit because of the black
mask-like markings around his eyes. Howie
and I already love him. He did cry all night
as expected. We've taken him out a few times,
but he didn't go until he was in the house.
He finally did go when taken out at noontime
(yea).
Bandit already comes when called, and likes
to run back and forth at home. His favorite
activity though is cuddling, which is fine
with us. He's already playing with his toy
and has carried it into other rooms. I plan
to take him for a walk in a little while
if he'll cooperate. So far he only runs around
us when he's on the leash.
We do have one question. He has a ravenous
appetite, so please tell me the name of the
dog food you gave us so we can continue feeding
it to him. Thanks so much.
And thank you for such a great addition to
our family.
Best regards,
Sue

Dear Doreen,
Thanks for lending a shoulder earlier today
on the phone. We are all
heartbroken from the loss of our beloved
Beckett. Even after only 23
months, he was truly the glue that bound
us together.
I have attached some recent photos of him
for you. His dynamic
personality, confident demeanor, intelligence
and good looks were
matched only by his loyalty and unconditional
love he displayed to us
all. Our home has never seemed so quiet and
felt so empty as it does
today without Beckett's claws clicking on
the hardwood floors while
following me everywhere I go.
It will be impossible to replace him, but
it would be even worse not to
fill our home and hearts with the love of
another dachshund (or 2).
Please keep in touch as your next few litters
arrive. As we discussed, I
am hoping that all of Beckett's traits above
will be found in one (or 2)
of the male pups (solid and smooth also).
Thanks so much for everything.
Rob
COCOA GOES HOME TO PA. THIS WAS A HARD ONE.
Hi Doreen,
Here is an picture of Coco that I took today.
He is doing great! He is already about 9lbs.
and his hair is starting to grow out longer,
mostly on his ears and back of his neck,
and his tail is getting spirals of long hair
around it. He is a good dog, but surely a
handful! We love him though. We are so happy
we made the trip out to you to get him. Have
a great holiday and a happy 2010!

"Thank you so much for talking with
me. You have eased a lot of my fears about
whelping. You are an amazing woman &
fantastic breeder, and I am so thankful that
I got Blitzen from you. It's been over 2
years since I got that little puppy... and
I can still count on you. You're one of the
best. <3 Thanks again!"
