forever homes page 16

Hi Doreen. I just wanted to fill you in our
how Louie is doing.....or Domino previously!
He is the most wonderful dog and brings us
an enormous amount of joy and laughter. We
picked him up from you on July 27 and time
has just flown by. His personality is awesome.
He's spunky and playful with our two labs.
He looks up to them and they really have
taken him under their wing. He loves to play
games and hide and seek. He also is such
a cuddler and does sleep with us every night.
He snuggles right up to each of us and is
such a good boy sleeping through the night
with no accidents. We just wanted to say
thank you for him as we couldn't be happier
and just love what he brings to our family.....Enjoy
the pictures!

Hi Doreen,
Just wanted to send you some pics of Bella
from summer vacation. She had the best time
at the beach and in the pool (she's a bit
spoiled;). Still, she really missed the cats
while we were away. The last picture is of
her cuddling up with our oldest boy, Neo.
Hope all is well! Just checked out the website
and I absolutely love the pics of Snickers
- he is adorable!
Take care,
Carolyn
Hilda GOES HOME FOR HALLOWEEN IN PA.
Hi Doreen,
Took our new little "Hilda" to
Tri Vet this morning, and yes we changed
her name numerous times before settling on
Hilda, but we are calling her Hildy.
She appears to be in fine health, . (And
no, she has not left our deck since we brought
her home.)
I do have to commend you on socializing
this baby. She has no fear of anyone and
goes to all. I don't think I have to worry
about having a "nippy, yappy" little
dog.
I also have to brag that she has not yet
done poops in the house yet, just a little
pee a few times. She is already trained to
go on the deck and does her stuff fast.
One other question......On your papers you
ask that we use your AKC name as a prefix
when registering, which I would like to do,
but you did not sign the permission space
on the registration papers for permission
to use an AKC Registered Kennel. I will be
trying to register her on line so I don't
know if they will ask this question.

Hi Doreen,
It was a long trip, but everything went fairly
well. At the beginning she vomitted in the
kennel and then she didn't want to come out
of the kennel. After the vet visit she rode
on my lap most of the way home (sleeping).
She began to calm down with me, but was still
quite nervous about everything. My husband
had his doubts about whether she'd get comfortable
with us ( he's not so familiar with house
dogs). I decided to introduce her carefully
to the other dogs - it went extremely well.
In fact, she became much more relaxed. Denny
said you wouldn't know it was the same dog
from this morning. We did a 2 mile walk in
the fields and everyone came back quite happy
with each other. We're off for another walk
now. I just wanted to let you know that she's
doing very well.
Thanks again,
Jessica
