We rescued this beautiful Labrador Retriever named Daisy from a family that was unfortunately unable to take care of her. Several months ago, she had been abandoned on the side of the road and it was discovered that the poor girl had cysts that needed to be removed. The family couldn't afford her veterinarian bills, was considering euthanasia, and so we decided to step in and rescue Daisy. After another trip to the veterinarian we discovered that her cysts have a 50% chance of being cancerous, she has also been diagnosed with Lyme Disease, and hypothyroidism requiring daily medication. Our vet estimates that poor Daisy is only five years old.
AKCDachshundNY is now accepting donations to help save Daisy. As of today we have paid out $350 in veterinary bills and another $150 in medication for the month..they estimate that the biopsy will be another $800. If it's determined that Daisy also needs chemotherapy, there will be additional expenses that we probably won't be able to afford.

HER DAILY MEDICATION FOR LYME, HYPOTHYROIDISM, ANTIHISTIMINE AND ANTIACIDS FOR THE GASTRIC ULCERS ASSOCIATED WITH HER TYPE OF MASSES (CYSTS)
